Rental Information
The Gathering is a Christian nonprofit and church registered with the state of California, with bylaws amended in 2022. The following guidelines satisfy our bylaws in Article 1 as pertaining to the following standard:
All activity within spaces owned or leased by The Gathering must comply with The Gathering’s mission and vision as a Christian organization. The tenets of the Christian faith that are affirmed by The Gathering can be found in our Statement of Faith in Article 3 of our bylaws. This includes exclusivity to Christ and the Christian faith. Therefore, any other faith practices within properties owned or leased by The Gathering would be in violation of our mission and vision, and therefore our bylaws.
The Gathering is a no-smoking, no-alcohol, and no-substance use facility.
Volume should never exceed 100db, and cannot exceed 80db between 9pm and 9am.
Use of audio, video, and theatrical equipment is not permitted without a staff member present or prior arrangements made.
Use of coffee and hospitality services is not permitted without a staff member present or prior arrangements made.
Renters must have proof of event or rental insurance to cover the facility if damaged, and The Gathering must be listed as a beneficiary of the policy for the proposed rental times.
An application to rent does not guarantee rental. Rentals are approved by the board after satisfying all of the requirements.
